Peter Baker Transport (PBT) LED Lighting Infrastructure

NuGreen was engaged by Argosy Property on behalf of tenant Peter Baker Transport (PBT) to deliver a smart lighting upgrade at their primary distribution hub in Mt Wellington, Auckland. The existing high-bay lighting was outdated and inefficient, failing to meet the demands of a busy logistics environment. Improving light levels, reducing energy consumption, and introducing intelligent controls were the key requirements, with minimal disruption to daily operations essential.

Working with Signify, NuGreen delivered Philips Smart LED High Bay lighting throughout the facility. The selected luminaires provide significantly improved light levels and incorporate integrated occupancy sensors, enabling intelligent dimming that delivers additional savings beyond LED efficiency alone. A total of 345 existing highway lights were replaced with 312 LED highway lights. The project was delivered to specification within the operational constraints of the active transport hub.
