J A Russell’s Networked and Connected LED Lighting Solution – 40% Saving

J A Russell’s warehouse required a modern, energy-efficient lighting upgrade to address rising operational costs and the limitations of its existing system. The warehouse – with high ceilings, large open floor areas, and variable occupancy throughout the day – presented an ideal opportunity for connected lighting technology. The existing system operated at fixed output regardless of occupancy, consuming unnecessary energy during periods of low activity.

In 2024, NuGreen installed a connected LED lighting solution with fully networked controls throughout the warehouse. Motion sensors were integrated throughout the facility, enabling the system to automatically adjust output based on real-time occupancy. Lights operate at full capacity when the space is active and reduce output or switch off when unoccupied – with no manual intervention required from warehouse staff.
